David joined Web Genius in 2009 after witnessing first hand the power of 'getting it right online'. As a small business owner David was experiencing the woes of pouring hard earned money into advertising 'black holes'.
"After spending large amounts of money on developing websites that produced no results at all, because they couldn't be found on any search engine - eventually I attended a Web Genius seminar on 'how to drive traffic to your website'," David says.
"What I heard at the seminar was totally enlightening - totally different from anything I had heard previously and what's more it all made total sense!
"Points like research before you start, give the search engines what they are looking for, make the content relevant to your customers, answer the questions of your customers from their perspective and in their language, build in a system that allows you to stay in touch with your customers etc, etc.
"As a result of what we learned I took the plunge and had a new site built using the Web Genius methodologies. The results were amazing and in the first week the site went live we sold more products online than we had in the previous six months. Online sales continued to grow at a fast rate and within a short time outstripped sales from our retail store."
Because of his own experience with the success of the Web Genius system David began working part-time as a Web Genius Sales Consultant before moving into a full time position - a role he finds immensely satisfying.

Born and bred in Hamilton, I completed a communications degree at WINTEC in 2009 majoring in Public Relations and Advertising. This course had a strong focus on web marketing at it is now recognised as the most effective mode of advertising in an ever increasing online world.
After my studies I traveled New Zealand with the Zirka Circus and my partner Kev. I began assisting with there marketing and progressed to co-ordinate marketing initiatives. It was a great job and way of life where i was able to connect with a wide range of people whilst enjoying the beauty of this country.
Circus life however is not all "hams and trailers", so I have moved back to Hamilton to re establish myself in the central hub. Here, the opportunity arose to work for Web Genius, a company that clearly understands web marketing and uses this knowledge to helps local businesses prosper. I was keen to be a part of something so positive and look forward to assisting you in making your web marketing decisions.
Kev moved back with me. He has worked in the Hamilton transport industry for twenty years and now drives a hi-ab.
